Edited by Julia Ward Howe, Lucy Stone, Thomas Wentworth Higginson, and others, "The Woman's Journal" was published in Boston from 1870 until 1917.
From July 2, 1910-Oct. 12, 1912 it was the official organ of the National American Woman Suffrage Association.
Over the course of its 43 years in print, the publication went through two title changes. With the publication of Vol. 43, no. 41 on October 19, 1912, the title changed to "Woman's Journal and Suffrage News."
